Ryan Mehler

Ryan has always been surrounded by and worked in the oil industry. He was drawn to join TCB because of his interest in how to improve best practices, efficiencies, and the challenges within the industry. These are tantamount to his love of building strong relationships with colleagues and clients. He looks forward to seeing how the industry will evolve over the coming years and what opportunities for adventure growing TCB will have to offer.

Originally from Estevan, Saskatchewan, Ryan came to Alberta in 2006, chasing the dream of being part of the Oilers Stanley Cup run. Unfortunately, as we all know, the dream did not come to fruition. Fortunately for those who have gotten to know him since, he has stayed in Edmonton: just waiting for the chance for it to happen again.

Ryan’s love of sports has taken him across the world, playing baseball in several different countries; Australia, Italy, Austria, and all over North America. Ryan continues to play baseball during the summer competitively in the Canadian over 35 league. This, of course, is only when the schedule does not conflict with his tee times.

Since moving to Alberta Ryan has met Julie, his wife of 6 years, who is a teacher. They have a tenacious 3 year old, Harper, who loves sledding, swimming, and dance.
